Just My 2 Cents on Civil Unions

Personally, Civil Union, or no Civil Union, these two people will be together with or without that piece of paper.  And personally, I am against the Government’s involvement in the family unit, gay or straight.  Personally, I could care less what the president thinks is okay.  He is just another guy like the guy down the road as far as I am concerned…and his opinion means just as much as mine, but I am not all over the news, am I?

Half of this country believes in civil unions and the other doesn’t.  As each state votes, those beliefs will be revealed.  Everyone’s belief is just as valid as the next.  I am not going to ridicule you for believing in civil unions.  Get off my back for believing that a family unit is for a man and a woman to join together and those two shall become one.  The “right” are not the ones with “top 10 reasons” that the “left” are crazy wrong.  Please, you guys, it is okay not to agree and not to have your way all of the time.  We are all individuals with our own minds and our own hearts for our own reasons.  And in life, your mind and heart may change along the way as well as could mine.  So lets just chill out about it all.  

 And if you think about it, a gay couple may get that  piece of paper and health insurance, but they also get a higher tax rate, so why wouldn’t the president support it?

Hi!  I actually was not able to get the shih tzu, but did adopt the bichon mix that I posted on my page from the same animal shelter.  I was so glad to be able to save a life!
